Estonian Minister of Education and Research visits

On a visit to SSEES, Dr Tõnis Lukas, the former Estonian Minister of Education and Research, met SSEES staff working in the field of Baltic Studies and Estonia/Estonian, and also IMESS students studying the language or from Estonia.
The then Director, Dr Robin Aizlewood drew attention to the success of expanding Baltic Studies at UCL from this year with the support of the Provost's Strategic Fund followed by a discussion of further support from the Estonian government to build on this.
