Marine Tigishvili was born in Georgia and graduated from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. She has been teaching Georgian Language in London since 2007. She is the researcher of old Georgian manuscripts at the Bodleian Library in Oxford and at the British Library in London. She teaches all three Georgian alphabets including old Georgian grammar as well as the modern Georgian grammar. She believes that the motivation to learn this ancient, unique, very distinct language can be found in Georgian history. The techniques that styled, shaped and composed Georgian words and alphabet are the declaration of Georgia’s historical adventure and will be very attractive if students will take the journey in Georgian History and Language simultaneously.
Marine has certificates in Orthodox Christian Theology (from IOCS Cambridge), in ancient Greek and Roman mosaics (from Ravenna School of mosaics, Italy) and Musical Education.
