In each event in this series of online talks, we have paired two of our esteemed academics - each from a different discipline - and invited them to discuss a shared research theme or problem. The ensuing conversations, on topics as diverse as sexuality in Russia or the Informal economies, emphasise the rich and generative terrain of cross-disciplinary collaboration. They also highlight the innovative and boundary-defying scholarly work done by SSEES academics. We have four of these truly fascinating talks recorded and coming up, with one to be released each day at 5pm, starting on the 14th September and culminating in a live Q&A with many of the academics involved on the 24th of September, via Zoom:
