Martin Harris OBE is the Director for Eastern Europe and Central Asia in the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) – and a member of the SSEES Advisory Board. At the FCO, Martin has held various posts, including as Ambassador to Romania, Consul General and Deputy Head of Mission in Kyiv, and Deputy Head of Mission in Moscow.
At the Press Group, Martin will talk about his personal reflections on time spent in Romania, Ukraine and Russia, comparing the 1990s to the present day.
