Conference on Holocaust Education

The event is part of the agenda promoted by the Romanian IHRA Chairmanship.

 Its aim is to reflect on how to combat Holocaust denial, anti-Semitism, racism, extremism, discrimination and xenophobia, how to promote education in the field of Holocaust studies in member and observer states and how to promote academic research into the Holocaust.

The opening and closing remarks will be delivered by Mr Andrei Muraru, adviser to the President of Romania for the relationship with the civil society and public authorities and The Rt Hon Sir Eric Pickles MP, UK Special Envoy for Post-Holocaust Issues
