The deadline to submit poster abstracts is 30 SEPTEMBER 2017. If you have submitted an abstract we will be in touch with you by Monday 4 October. If you do not receive an email by then, please contact us at UCL spicesandmedicine@gmail.com
We welcome proposals for posters from students and researchers working in an area of science, culture, history, language, or literature on topics related to the interface between food, medicine, and culture to the present day. This includes but is not limited to:
- botany and pharmacy
- economic and cultural history
- the history of science, medicine, and technology
- anthropology
- Chinese and other Asian studies
- sociology
- food and nutrition studies
- biomedical and natural science research
Research need not be complete, and we invite posters of research in progress.
Include a list of contributing authors and the format (landscape or portrait) and size (A0-A3) of your poster. Stands will be provided; please ensure to bring pins.
