  • Cost of Living Hub: Advice and support for students affected by the rising cost of living. 

Prospective PhD Students

  • Wolfson Postgraduate Scholarships: The Wolfson Foundation offers postgraduate research awards to students pursuing research in history, literature, and languages. The funding available covers a stipend, fees and a research allowance. Scholarships are awared based on academic merit. For the 2024/25 academic year, there will be 3 awards offered for the Faculty of Social and Historical Sciences).
  • UKRI Funding: As the host institution for ESRC, AHRC and NERC Doctoral Training Partnerships, UCL has opportunities for funded PhD places across departments within the Faculty of Social & Historical Sciences. Use the links below to find out what is available to prospective UCL students.
