“We are committed to ensuring that equality, diversity and inclusion are central to everything we do in the Faculty of Social and Historical Sciences. Through our staff committee and student networks, we have embedded discussion about EDI issues in our decision making and communication structures within departments and across the Faculty. We have exciting initiatives underway in many departments working to address the BAME Awarding Gap and to promote trans and broader LGBTQ+ inclusion, while our successes in achieving Athena Swan bronze and silver awards are part of our ongoing commitment to gender equality.
