The Space have published a curated collection of single screen videos by 12 artists at the Slade School of Fine Art, which demonstrates the broad range of approaches, techniques and experimentation explored by Slade students and recent Slade Alumni. This offers a unique opportunity to see a diverse collection of challenging, experimental work which would only previously have been available to those who had visited the Slade degree shows last year.

UCL Cities Methodologies is taking place at the Slade Research Centre, Woburn Square, London WC1H 0NS from 23 - 26 April 2013. Cities Methodologies is an annual exhibition and events programme showcasing recent innovations in urban research methods and cross-disciplinary work on cities worldwide.

Connie Butler and Lauren Godfrey, under their creative pseudonym Vanessa Visual and Virginia Verbal, are launching Issue Two of their publication Her Eyes and My Voice: Performing to Objects with a performance at Chisenhale Gallery's 21st Century programme at 7pm on Thursday 25 April 2013. Ed Allington and Giles Corby, two of the founders of the Bronze Lab, and the Slade students who were selected to participate in last Feburary's bronze pour will discuss the project and present the works that they created at UCL Art Museum, South Cloisters, University College London, London WC1E 6BT on Tuesday 23rd April 2013, 1 - 5 pm. Tom Badley, Elliot Dodd, Philip Hausmeier, Steffen Levring, Sarah McNulty, Sophie Michael, Kianoosh Motallebi and Catalina Niculescu are showing in Strong Enough, a screening programme of physical videos, selected by Steffen Levring as part of Half-words curated by Luke McCreadie. Jayne Wilton is showing Suspense at Beldam Gallery, Eastern Gateway Building, Brunel University, Kingston Lane, Uxbridge, UB8 3PH, from 21 January - 15 March 2013. Suspense is the result of Jayne Wilton’s year as artist-in-residence at Brunel University, funded by The Leverhulme Trust. Her residency, Inspired by Breath, fuelled a collaborative investigation into breathing as a unit of exchange between a person and their environment and extended into an exploration of the spent breath of the cosmos. Paint Club Research Student Network is staging a Visual Symposium to be held at Beaconsfield, 22 Newport Street, London SE11 6AY, from 11am - 8pm on Friday 26 April 2013. Speakers include Slade alumus Ian Kiaer. This one-day event, focusing on Painting as research, will be a valuable opportunity for PhD researchers from around the country to share their practice, network and be involved in discussions about their practice in relation to research.
