Health and safety in animal facilities training
This course will outline the key risks that you need to be aware of when working with animals in any Biological Services and the measures to take to protect yourself.
Course description
This eLearning course will provide an overview of health and safety in the animal facility, and in particular the measures in place to manage and control exposure to laboratory animal allergens.
All safety instructor-led training courses are delivered by our team of safety experts.
Objectives
This course will outline the key risks that you need to be aware of when working with animals in any Biological Services and the measures to take to protect yourself.
Target audience
UCL Research Staff and PG Research students intending to work in a UCL Home Office designated animal facility.
Cost
Training courses are free to UCL staff however your Department will be charged £50 if you fail to attend when booked on a course. Non-attendance at first aid courses will incur a higher non-attendance fee.

Places to external delegates are only offered if there is spare capacity on an instructor-led course.
