Lunch and Learn programme - Martyn's Law
31 October 2023
The scope of Martyn's Law includes premises used for entertainment, retail, food and drink, museums and galleries, sports grounds, temporary events, places of worship, health, and education. It also covers a collection of buildings used for the same purpose such as a campus.
Following on from the success of the first Lunch & Learn event that we hosted in October, Safety Services is pleased to announce that the next event will be coming in November and we want you to mark down the date.
Join us for a Lunch and Learn on Martyn's Law
Martyn's Law is the legislative response to the findings of the Manchester Arena Inquiry and is designed to reduce the risk to the public from terrorism by the protection of public venues, increasing national security and personal safety.
This virtual session will give us all an insight into the new legislation and how it can impact us at UCL.
Date: 23 November 2023
Time: 1.00 p.m.
Location: Via MS Teams
Look out for an invitation to this Lunch & Learn event coming your way very soon!
