Date announced for Laser Safety Officer Forum

Laser Safety Officers play a vital role at UCL in protecting people from laser hazards. The Laser Safety Forum is an opportunity for you to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in UCL policies. The virtual Forum will be held on 15 November 2023.

Virtual meeting

UCL's Radiation Protection Team is pleased to announce that they will be hosting the Laser Safety Officers Forum on Wednesday 15 November 2023. This virtual one-hour Forum will provide an opportunity for you to learn about the work the Radiation Protection Team is doing around lasers, ask any questions you may have and network with colleagues.

  • Introducing the new Laser Safety SharePoint site.
  • UCL's 10-Step guide to working with laser systems safely. 

Who should attend the Laser Safety Officer Forum?

The Forum is open to Laser Safety Officers who have completed the Laser Safety Officer training course. Attendance is by invitation only, so if you have not received your event invite, please email lasersafety@ucl.ac.uk.
