SI on Cascading Crises IJDRR-New Papers Online

The papers of the Special Issue "Understanding and mitigating cascading crises in the global interconnected system", hosted by the International Journal of Disaster Risk Reduction, have been released online. 

SI on Cascading Crises IJDRR

The special issue has been guest edited by Gianluca Pescaroli (UCL), Michael Nones (Unibo), Luca Galbusera (EU JRC) and David Alexander (UCL). It aims to create a milestone for the field, contextualising cascading in the built environment, the social domains, and applied emergency management.

Its main goal is to present a range of perspectives that could point out the interactions and interconnections orienting the escalation of secondary emergencies through vulnerability paths, instead of focusing only on triggering. The following papers are already available online and have been reported in the order of release:
