About the Conference
The theme of the 14th IRDR Annual Conference is Futures of Risk – Causes, Consequences, Change. Paola Albrito, Director of the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction, will deliver the keynote address.
Members of IRDR will be showcasing their research and projects related to futures of risks, including the causes, consequences and change that is needed. This year will also feature a conversation organised by a student committee and a plenary programme. The conference will take place at UCL’s brand new campus, UCL East (near Stratford in East London) and will include opportunities for discussions and networking. All risk and disaster professionals, researchers and students are welcome to attend.
Join the conversation on social media using the hashtags #IRDR14 and #FuturesOfRisk
