This event will bring together IRDR Master’s students and academics, practitioners, and anyone else who is interested to discuss Gender and Sexual Minorities (GSM) in Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR). At this event we will be launching the latest Bibliography and Reference Guide by GRRIPP and the Centre for Gender and Disaster which provides a compilation of resources from across the globe on GSM in DRR.

The session will include an informal panel discussion with the team who created the reference guide on where the idea stemmed from, why the reference guide is important and how we developed it. We will also be welcoming a guest speaker to address the topic of GSM in the disaster and development sector (speaker TBC).

The lecture will be followed by a reception at 7pm.

If you can't attend in person, you can still join us online via Zoom.
