We have created a set of functions that gives you full flexibility over your pipetting with the liquid handling robot platform OT-2 from Opentrons:

https://github.com/AdReNa-lab/OT2 OT2

  • Custom Labware: allows you to define various liquid containers on your deck (vials, tubes, sample reservoirs).
  • Custom Functions: provides you with functions to track the liquid level and operate at a consistent position with respect to the meniscus (e.g. for mixing applications).

qTLC: A Toolkit to Quantify Target Compounds in Thin-Layer-Chromatography

Thin Layer Chromotography (TLC) is a simple but powerful method that enables us to physically separate the chemicals in a solution. Our qTLC app (https://qtlc.app/) makes quantification of compounds easy. Full paper, student handouts, and experimental plans available freely here: https://pubs.acs.org/doi/abs/10.1021/acs.jchemed.8b00144
