The Festival of Code will bring together and celebrate the contribution software and coding communities make to research and innovation. The festival will:
- Celebrate and raise the profile of coding communities, good practice and support career development.
- Celebrate and raise the profile of research software and its impact
- Enable researchers to build their networks and to find out about research across disciplines.
- Raise the profile of services and /or initiatives to help researchers find support more easily

Timeline:
- 18 March - Deadline for EoI submissions from event organisers
- 25 March - Feedback to event organisers.
- 25 April - Deadline for sending information for the website and eventbrite/registration links for festival promotion.
- 14 June - Festival begins!
