Christmas Pre-Award deadlines

Over the Christmas period, Research and Innovation Services (RIS) will close from 5pm on Friday 23 December 2022, and will re-open at 9am on Tuesday 3 January 2023.

For anyone planning to submit a research proposal over the festive period, please note our Pre-Award deadlines below.

Pre-Award deadlines

For proposals to be checked and submitted prior to the Christmas closure period, locally approved Worktribe must be with our Pre-Award team by close of business on Thursday 15 December 2022.

Final applications and any partner costings (where applicable) must be with our Pre-Award team by close of business on Wednesday 21 December 2022.

Proposals due to be submitted via an online funder portal must be on the portal for approval by our teams at least two working days before the external deadline. If the deadline falls over the Christmas closure period, the proposal should be submitted for approval no later than Wednesday 21 December.
