In this seminar, Professor Tim Rasinski considers why reading fluency is so important, particularly for young children experiencing literacy difficulties. There will be a particular focus on instructional practices to support reading fluency. Martin Galway (Herts for Learning) an English Teaching and Learning Advisor, will consider challenges for teachers in supporting reading fluency in classrooms today. There will be an opportunity for discussion and questions at the end of the session.
This session would be of interest to classroom teachers, reading specialists, and literacy leaders.
