Tej Adeleye is a writer, audio producer and arts programmer. Tej is a trustee at the independent archive George Padmore Institute. Her arts practice focuses on the connections between past and present black political struggles using multidisciplinary activations, popular education and archives.
She works as a radio producer for BBC Radio 3’s flagship improvised music programme, Freeness, and has produced a range of cultural and current affairs programmes and features for BBC Radio 1xtra, Radio 3, Radio 4, and more. She also curates cultural events and writes about music through liner notes, press releases and essays on platforms such as The Quietus and Crack Magazine exploring the social and political contexts of contemporary black music.
