Applications now open for Parliament 2024-26 Thematic Research Leads

UK Parliament and UKRI are expanding Parliament’s network of Thematic Research Leads across a wider range of academic disciplines and policy areas. Following a successful run in 2023, they are now recruiting for the next round of TRLs!
We're excited to announce that the UK Parliament and UKRI are launching the next round of Thematic Research Leads (TRLs),
There are eight part-time positions available from a broad range of scientific and research disciplines:
- Thematic Research Lead on AI and Digital
- Thematic Research Lead on Arts and Humanities
- Thematic Research Lead on Business, Economics and Trade
- Thematic Research Lead on Climate and Environment
- Thematic Research Lead on Crime and Justice
- Thematic Research Lead on Health
- Thematic Research Lead on International Affairs and National Security
- Thematic Research Lead on Transport
Successful applicants will be will be appointed to work with UK Parliament from September 2024 to summer 2026.
To help attendees understand the role and recruitment process for the Thematic Research Lead position in UK Parliament; UK Parliament and UKRI are hosting an information session on Wednesday 17 January 2023, 1pm - 2.30pm.There will be a range of speakers at the online event including current Thematic Research Lead colleagues. This is a great opportunitiy for researchers both in and outside UCL to play a prominent role in the academic-policy engagement community, as shown through the UKRI policy fellowships.
