Professor Robin Grimes, Chief Scientific Adviser to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, will speak about his experience in post. He will consider how scientific advice can inform foreign policy development, touch on some crucial current public policy issues, and consider some of the challenges and pitfalls of delivering scientific advice in Government.
