Synopsis


During 2020-22, Professor Eloise Scotford, Professor of Environmental Law, provided the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) with legal expertise on a consultancy basis. She developed strong models of air quality legislation globally, including through rigorous legal analysis of robust governance systems for this area and capacity building guidance for governments to use this legal analysis in national law reform exercises.This project formed part of a wider programme under the ‘Montevideo V’ Environmental Law Programme.
