Led by Dr Juliano Denicol, Dr Simon Addyman and Mr Olu Morgan, UCL's Bartlett School of Sustainable Construction has published the Compendium of Large Infrastructure Projects.

Commisioned by the European Commision, the study explored the public procurement aspects in contracts for large infrastructure projects, with an emphasis on the issues and trends that were emerging in the selection of procurement procedures within particular delivery models. Drawing on a study of procurement procedures in over 80 large infrastructure projects across the European Union from 2008 to 2018, including in-depth semi-structured interviews with procurement professionals within eight of those projects, the study identified three key mutually dependent recommendations for the European Commission.
