Synopsis


Since 2016 Maryam has developed and leads a large programme of work to develop and evaluate complex sexual health and HIV prevention interventions for adolescents and young adults in rural KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. The programme is funded by grants from the US National Institutes of Health, UK Medical Research Council, UK Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Councils, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, 3ie, UNITAID, and Wellcome Trust.
