UCL Open Days

Attending an in-person Open Day

Attending an in-person Open Day is a great opportunity to find out about the programmes we offer, chat with students and staff and learn about student life at UCL.

To register for an in-person Open Day, please visit our Undergraduate Open Days page.

Before joining an in-person Open Day:

  • We recommend that you read the Undergraduate prospectus. This will help you know which questions you haven’t been able to find an answer to.
  • You can also visit our Subjects A-Z list where you can watch short informational videos about your intended programme of study, including helpful information on course structure, assessments, and entry requirements.
  • Finally, you can browse important information on our admissions, accommodation and funding pages.

How to plan your visit

The Open Day activities programme in pdf and on the UCLGo app will be available for you to download the week before the Open Days. In line with UCL’s sustainability policy we will not be handing out printed programmes on the day.

The programme of activities will include:

  • Tours of campus and accommodation
  • The chance to speak to academics and students at drop-in sessions and the faculty fair
  • Subject taster sessions, and so much more

Sessions and talks

Please note that all the sessions operate on a first come first served, walk-in basis, and as such you will not be able to book sessions ahead of time.

Demand may be high, particularly for the most popular degree programmes. If you are not able to attend a session, don’t worry, there are plenty of other opportunities to find out more by attending drop-in sessions in departments or visiting the Faculty Fair.
