Rebecca speaks on an investigation into the legacy of court decisions separating children form lesbian mums. “Married lesbians didn’t fit easily into the politics that was emerging from lesbian organisations in the 1960s and early 70s, which tended to emphasise independence from men and also a choice not to have children.”

Lapis is a zine written and edited by UCL History undergraduates. It is part of the BAME Awarding Gap project. The most recent theme of the zine is “Crossroads”, as our students are currently making major life decisions and crossroads feature heavily across history.
