Edel works closely with the Programmes Managers to provide comprehensive support on the Department’s undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programmes.

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Attendance Lead for UG and PG
• Student induction and module selection
• Connected learning support: e-learning (Moodle)
• Examination and assessment information Moodle pages
• UG Academic Misconduct Panel
• UG Examination Board and award processing (including LSA Exam Board)
• All PG committees (MA, MSc and E/MPA)
• Member of departmental teaching committees, including UG/PG Steering, Departmental Teaching and All-Staff Committees
• PG student and staff handbooks
• PG programme diets and award rules
• PG programme summaries
• PG teaching webpages and CMA compliance
• Quality assurance (KPI/peer observation)
• Reports and statistics
• Student load exercise
• Administrative lead on staffing rota and weekly huddle
• General teaching administration support and best practice
