My research largely falls within the realm of international political economy with a focus on its microeconomic foundations. Current projects explore business-government relations surrounding the policies that shape globalization, as well as the interactions between firms and domestic institutions.
More information on my research, as well as links to papers and (some) data, can be found on my website.
I currently teach International Political Economy and International Trade Policy at the MSc level, as well as supervise MSc dissertations.
Previous teaching activities, as well as a variety of teaching- and supervision-related materials, can be found on my website.
I am Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in International Political Economy in the School of Public Policy at UCL, where I was appointed in 2013, after receiving my PhD from the University of California, San Diego. I served as the Departmental Tutor and Director of the Affiliate Programme in Political Science and International Relations from 2015-2018.
