Professor Richard Bellamy elected to Academia Europaea

We are delighted to announce that Professor Richard Bellamy has been elected a Member of the Academia Europaea.

The Academia Europaea was founded in 1988, on the initiative of the UK's Royal Society and other National Academies in Europe. It is the pan-European academy of science, humanities and letters, with a membership of over 5000 eminent scholars, drawn from all countries of Europe, and all disciplines, nationalities and geographical locations.

Membership reflects the scholarship and eminence of individuals in their chosen field, based on international peer group nomination, scrutiny and confirmation.
