Careers Week: Developing Greener Futures - A Conversation with Tiffany Tsui

21 May 2021, 12:30 pm–1:30 pm

Tiffany

Developing greener futures has been at the heart of Tiffany Tsui’s work since 2001 when she founded EMSI China, the first international firm to pioneer a successful business model for LEED (which stands for Leadership in Environmental and Energy Design) certified ‘Green Buildings’ for the Chinese market. She developed an innovative and integral approach of shaping policy, leading market standards and introducing new technology and holistic building design practices. The LEED standards became the model for China’s own green building program and LEED remains the leading standard in the market. Currently based in the Netherlands, she is the founder and CEO of Springtide Strategy & Ventures, a consulting, research and venture building firm focused on the forefronts of China strategy, metropolitan farming, & digital transformation of the agrifood supply chains. She partners with the Chinese and Dutch governments, academic institutions and businesses to bridge cultures, disciplines and sectors in the promotion of green development.
