FEI Quanta 200 FEG ESEM

Field emission gun scanning electron microscope for high resolution, low-high magnification work. It can operate in a high pressure ESEM mode for analysis of biological or hydrated samples and uncoated samples. Features include:

• Accelerating voltage 200V to 30kV
• <3nm resolution at 30kV, 10nm resolution at 3kV
• secondary electron detector for higher resolution imaging
• backscatter electron imaging for more compositional information
• ESEM/low vacuum mode for biological, hydrated or non-conductive samples using large-field detector (low vacuum) or gaseous secondary electron detector (ESEM)

Phenom Pro Benchtop SEM
Used primarily for screening of low magnification samples with rapid pump-down time and higher throughput capability.
