Research in this theme investigates the neural mechanisms underlying perception, decision making, language, and the processing of reward and cognitive function, both in health and disease. Experiments use behavioural methods including psychophysical paradigms as well as functional MRI (fMRI) and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS).
