A little pessimism may not be a bad thing to weather COVID-19 crisis

Professor Tali Sharot (UCL Psychology & Language Sciences) comments on her new study in the US finding that most people think their own personal Covid-19 risk is below average, while seeing the pandemic as a danger to society more strongly predicts adherence to guidelines.
