European Space Agency probe to intercept a comet

The Comet Interceptor mission proposed by Professor Geraint Jones (UCL Space & Climate Physics) has been selected by ESA as their new F-class mission. It will be the first to visit a truly pristine comet or interstellar object, sharing a ride to space with UCL-led ARIEL in 2028.
