Dextrous monkeys have used tools to crack nuts for 3000 years

A new study led by Dr Tomos Proffitt (UCL Institute of Archaeology) reveals that monkeys have used stone tools to crack open nuts for 3,000 years and switched from using small stones to big stones between 2,500 to 3,000 years ago.
