UCL researchers across all disciplines are encouraged to apply to the new Horizon Europe Pump Priming Collaboration between UK and EU Partners 2024 fund, offered by The British Academy with the support of the Royal Society, the Academy of Medical Sciences, and the Royal Academy of Engineering.

Up to £10,000 is available to UK and EU/Associated Countries-based researchers to develop collaborations to support the uptake of opportunities provided by the UK’s association to Horizon Europe.

Applications submitted by 17 January will be considered initially, followed by a secondary deadline of 21 February if funding remains available. UCL colleagues interested in Horizon Europe collaboration, particularly those who have not been involved in a proposal previously, are strongly advised to apply before 17 January.

Full details and eligibility criteria are available on the British Academy website. Please be aware that even if these projects cannot be considered as sponsored research, Award Services will support the institutional submission in Flexi-Grant system, as with any other research or innovation application.
