Publication of student results 2019/2020

24 June 2020

2019/20 results and awards to be published from Thursday 6 August.

Student on mobile phone

On Thursday 6 August, you will receive your results and awards by email to your UCL email account if you undertook assessment in 2019–20.

Results emails will be sent out in batches throughout the day. Your email may arrive earlier or later than other students in your cohort as it is not possible to send a single communication to all 32,000 students receiving results this year. These emails can be viewed on mobile devices.

Deferral or re-sit results for modules first attended in a previous academic year will be available for you to view on Portico the week after the results emails are released. All current academic year results will also be available to view from this date. Please contact your department if you have any queries about these results prior to this date.

Late Summer Assessment (LSA)

If you have failed or deferred examinations or assessments for 2019–20 modules, this information will be detailed in your results email. The LSA examination period will be assessing students that have deferred one or more of their assessments. If you are taking 24 hour online examinations in the LSA period, you will receive your exam timetable by email on 28 July. If you are submitting coursework in the LSA period, your department will let you know how and when you need to do this.

For students who have not passed their assessment, you will need to re-sit at a later time:

  • Postgraduate taught and undergraduate finalist students will re-sit their 24 hour online examinations in the January 2021 examination period.
  • Undergraduate continuing students will be permitted to progress to their next stage of study and will have the opportunity to re-sit any 24 hour online examinations during the Main Examination period in 2021.

Certificate and transcripts

Your degree documents will be posted to your home address within three months of conferral of your award – please make sure that your home address details are up to date on Portico.
