UCL’s new HR & Payroll System launches on 6 February 2020
22 January 2020
You will soon be able to log into a single portal for all of your HR, Finance and Learning tasks.
MyHR, our new HR and Payroll System, goes live on Thursday 6 February. It will integrate with MyFinance (already in use across UCL) to provide us with a single, fully integrated HR and Finance management system.
In order to prepare for the launch of MyHR, a number of systems, including MyFinance and MyView, are now unavailable or will experience downtime.
Affected IT systems
MyFinance is unavailable until MyHR goes live on 6 February. This affects a number of areas including iProcurement and expenses. Please visit the MyFinance outage webpage for more information.
Other systems affected by the outage include WorkTribe and DAM. A full list of the affected systems can be found on the Affected Systems Webpage.
MyView will be replaced by MyHR Self-Service when it goes live on 6 February. For those of you who currently use MyView to manage absence, here’s an overview of some of the main changes to expect:
- MyHR will offer more self-service functionality than MyView. You will be able to update your personal details quickly and easily, including your bank details.
- Any recorded or approved absences (annual leave, sickness leave, domestic leave) as of 10 January 2020 will be migrated to MyHR Self-Service. From now until go-live, please follow your department’s local processes for recording absence.
- Annual leave balances will be shown in hours not days. Moving to an hours based system will help us to support flexible working arrangements. You will still request leave in half/full day blocks but it will be deducted in hours based on your work pattern. More information on this, visit our Absence webpage.
- You will continue to access your P60s through MyView until further notice.
