A record number of new students enrolled at UCL
2 November 2016
UCL has welcomed over 19,000 new students from all over the world to the university since the start of September.
The majority of the 19,000-strong cohort attended enrolment sessions led by UCL Student and Registry Services at the Gower Street site. Dr Robyn Hall and Jasmine
Kaur (pictured) were students number 19,000 and 19,001 of all the enrolled UCL students for this academic
year.
The university now has over 40,000 students registered to study across eleven faculties. UCL Student and Registry Services hope that all new and continuing students are settling in well to the new academic year.
UCL Student Centre
If you do have an enquiry and are not sure where
to go for guidance, you can visit the UCL Student Centre located on the ground floor of the
Chadwick building on the main UCL campus.
The Student
Centre Team can provide you with a Statement of Student Status to confirm your
enrolment which can be used for Council Tax exemption (if you are a
full-time student). The team can also provide you with letter to help you to apply to
open a bank account.
In addition, they accept thesis submissions for
research students and sign off a variety of forms confirming students' enrolment at UCL.
The Student Fees and Student Funding Teams are also based in
Student Centre and can help you with any questions you might have relating to your
tuition fees or student funding.
For more information, please visit the UCL Student Centre website.
