Handel's 'Messiah' at UCL

21 November 2007

UCL Union Chamber Choir and Chamber Orchestra will be giving a Christmas performance of Handel's Messiah, in aid of University College Opera.

Messiah

The much-loved masterpiece was frequently performed by Handel himself as a fundraising work. The UCLU performances, conducted by Charles Peebles, will take place in St George's Bloomsbury, a newly restored Hawksmoor church exactly contemporary with the piece.

The performance is at 7.30pm on 14 and 15 December 2007, at St George's Bloomsbury, Bloomsbury Way, WC1A 2HR

Tickets cost £20 in advance from The Bloomsbury theatre, or cost £5 on the door for UCL students. Phone + 44 (0)20 7388 8822.
