Alaa Ali Alkaabi serves as a Librarian at The Iraq National Library and Archive (INLA) and is currently a visiting scholar at Newcastle University, under the supervision of Valentina Flex. During this period, Alaa aims to explore various approaches to library management, storage, and retrieval, as well as archival systems and document digitization methods prevalent in the UK. Alaa’s goal is to devise tools and strategies that can be implemented effectively at INLA based on the insights gained from this scholarship.
