Large research grants awarded

Large interdisciplinary research projects on themes relating to one or more of the Nahrein Network’s five aims in fostering the sustainable development of history, heritage and the humanities

In 2018-21, the Nahrein Network funded four large research projects to address a range of urgent questions. All projects were led by mixed international-Iraqi research teams with budgets of up to £100,000.
