Prof. Dardik is one of the most influential cardiovascular surgeons in the world.  Prof. Dardik is Professor of Vascular Surgery and Chief of Vascular Surgery, at VA Connecticut Healthcare in New Haven CT.  He is also the President of the International Society for Vascular Surgery.

Prof. Dardik will be giving a talk on the 6th of August at 4.30 pm in the Roberts Building, Department of Mechanical Engineering, room 410. "How do vascular interventions fail and where are the opportunities"?

Historical and current approaches will be discussed, focusing on currently unanswered questions that are opportunities for future work
