Clinical partnerships

Clinical partners are essential to mental health research at UCL to pioneer new treatments and therapies, train clinicians, and to understand more about the causes and effects of mental health conditions.

UCL’s strong partnership with the NHS is vital to enable the participation of patients in mental health research, drive the development of new clinical studies, and ensure the uptake of new evidenced-based treatment approaches. Furthermore, links between UCL and its partner NHS Trusts and Clinical Commissioning Groups are essential to encourage and ensure the best training environments for clinical academics in psychiatry, medical students and clinical psychologists.
