On 17th November 2022, third year Biomedical Engineering students Apolline Filles and Faustine Labouret shared their study abroad experiences online with fellow students at UCL. Apolline is currently studying abroad in McGill University in Canada, while Faustine attending Singapore’s Nanyang Technological University.

Students on the BEng/MEng in Biomedical Engineering programme can apply to the Study Abroad scheme in their 2nd year and study overseas in their 3rd year. They can choose from a selected list of 20 overseas universities based in North America, Asia and Australia. Every year in November, the UCL Study Abroad team organises the Go Abroad week while the Departmental Study Abroad Tutor (Dr Terence Leung) arranges a special tutorial session on study abroad to assist interested students in their applications.
