Cake and Connections: April

This month's session theme is Career Progression.

Ever wanted to know how the promotional pathway works? Fellowships – how, why and everything in between? What about teaching? PhD – is it the right decision for me? What do employers really look for on a CV?

Bring these questions or anything else you can think of: all topics of discussions are welcome (from Love Island to academia)! Members of academic staff and professional services will be available to informally discuss everything you want to know about career progression within the department.

Drop in for just 5 minutes or stay for the whole session – everyone is welcome!
