Prof Geoff Parker, Professor of Healthcare Engineering, Imaging, and Enterprise, UCL

Geoff Parker is Professor of Healthcare Engineering, Imaging, and Enterprise at UCL. His main research interest is quantitative MRI, including methods to measure tissue oxygen delivery and the permeability of blood vessels. He applies these methods to understand tissue function in a range of diseases, including cancer, neurological conditions, and lung disease. He is also interested in translating methods to use by industry and by healthcare providers, and has co-founded three companies to support this activity.
