Workshop intended outcomes
- Develop innovative teaching materials to be used directly in participants’ courses.
- Create a critical mass of science faculty at UCL that have a shared conceptual framework and can work together to implement teaching reforms.
- Create a local support system for classroom implementation using a peer-review approach to foster reflective teaching practices and collaboration.
- Facilitate local strategic planning to leverage participants’ new knowledge and expertise toward curricular reform.
- Promote administrative support of local reform efforts through a discussion with local administrators.
