MAPS #GoBeyond Awards 2023: Nominations Open

The MAPS #GoBeyond Awards for undergraduate and postgraduate (taught) students rewards and recognises students who not only demonstrate dedication and hard work in their studies, but who also go beyond their studies through excellence in extra-curricular activities such as; volunteering, or widening participation, or science communication, or improving inclusiveness, and the well-being of other students. If you know a student (including yourself) who has inspired you, or others, with their overall excellence in both academic and extra-curricular activities - that focus on enriching the community - nominate them for a MAPS #GoBeyond Award.

A panel consisting of staff across MAPS will select four winners who will each receive a certificate and a £100 Waterstones voucher at a ceremony to be announced in September.

Eligibility 

• Nominations can be made by anyone that knows an undergraduate or postgraduate (taught) student who has inspired you, or others, with their overall excellence in both academic and extra-curricular activities, that focus on enriching the community. 
• Nominations can be made by you, if you are a student yourself!
• You must be in the MAPS Faculty.
